When will colored toric contacts be available? 

For some prescriptions, they’re available now. A manufacturer called Clerio Vision recently ushered in what we hope is a colored-toric-contacts Renaissance. Clerio's TORIColors monthly lenses come in emerald green, golden amber, horizon gray, and seabreeze blue. They have a beautiful, natural look, but their prescription range is limited for now. 

Why the limitation? Sadly, the complexity of toric lenses makes it difficult and expensive to manufacture colored toric contacts. Prescriptions for astigmatism have many more correction combinations than non-toric prescriptions. As we mentioned earlier, you may want to ask your doctor about getting custom, colored toric contacts if you can’t get a TORIColors prescription.
